They hate us for our freedoms…Riiiight…
Why am I not surprised? Civilian contractors who posted video of themselves shooting up random vehicles on Iraqi highways get away with murder. Crooks and Liars has the video here.
For those who are either too slow-witted or too blinded by hatred of anyone who expresses an opinion to the left of Torquemada (I’m looking at you Michelle Malkin, Ann Coulter, Freepers, Late German Fascists, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, Neal Boortz, Rush Limbaugh, etc.), these genocidal maniacs were NOT military, but employees of London-based Aegis Defense Services - a private security firm. These monsters are to our men and women in uniform what mall security is to local police. In other words, RENT-A-COPS!!!
But sadly, such distinctions don’t matter to people like Malkin, Coulter, Boortz and the rest. These are, after all, the same people constantly telling us that every single last Muslim on the face of the planet is a terrorist and that therefore the only good Muslim is a dead Muslim.
Frankly, I wouldn’t be too surprised to find out that this is true of members of the American Inquisition:

But to get back to my original point, when these Rent-a-Soldiers go around shooting up random Iraqis, it inflames anti-American sentiment in the Mideast, which inspires some of them to take it out on our soldiers, who are already under considerable strain from the bad leadership coming out of the Department of Defense - from stop loss orders to third and fourth deployments for troops, all while having to do it with substandard equipment (no armor on the HMMWVs, bad body armor, and being told that if they try to use the armor their folks send them, they’ll lose their SGLI death benefits, and this is just a small sample of the injustices done to them by the civilian leadership at the DoD!) and being treated like crap in the mess hall by Halliburton contractors (doin’ a heckuva job, Rummy!). Add to this the unclear mission in Iraq and the constant incitement to genocidal violence by the right-wing hatemongers whose steady stream of "We must Auschwitz the Muslims or we’re all gonna die!" is the only thing allowed on Armed Forces Radio and Television Service, and you’ve got a ready recipe for many more Hadithas.
So tell me again, just WHO is giving our troops the Dolchstoßlegende treatment?
