Forgive my absence…
As you are probably well aware by now, I have been on hiatus for the past month and a half. Unfortunately, I have been busy dealing with personal issues that have precluded me from blogging.
However, I am happy to say that I am ready to return to the trenches and fight the good fight for the future of our country, that we may yet save it from the scourge of the GOP and their fascist enablers in both the press and on AM hate radio. I expect to fully return later tonight/early tomorrow with my thoughts on the happenings of the last month and a half. Here are the topics I plan to cover in my first few posts back.
-
A continuation of my thoughts on the code brown alert and the related ramping up of bigoted anti-Muslim rhetoric on the right.
-
My own commentary on Rumsfeld sliming critics from behind the skirts of the American Legion (a state sponsor of terror against anti-war protesters).
-
A discusison on ABC’s surrender of their journalistic credentials in exchange for propaganist credentials with their mockumentary: The Path to 9/11 Clinton’s Almighty Penis Caused 9/11.
-
A bit belated for the fifth anniversary of The Event That Changed America, I will talk about my 9/11 experience.
-
An inside look at a local election race - Mark Strama vs. Jeff Fleece for the 50th state legislative district.
-
Finally, the long-delayed commentary on the state of democracy in this country, now so much more salient in light of new evidence that the GOP is objectively pro-torture. (Take that, Perfesser Corncob!)
So, hopefully, this little update should tide you over until then.
