Annie, you have some ’splainin to do!
So a while back, one Ann Coulter was being oh so helpful in the 2008 Presidential Campagin with the following “trenchant rebuttal” to Sen. Barack Obama’s comments about how the right wing has spent the past two decades declaring themselves the inheritors and proprietors of the legacy of a certain Nazarene carpenter:
COLMES: Oh, it’s only — only Republicans can talk in churches, right?
COULTER: No, but I do think anyone named B. Hussein Obama should avoid using “hijack” and “religion” in the same sentence.
And now there’s this:
A man has been arrested for illegal possession of a knife outside Barack Obama’s hotel amid growing fears about threats to kill the man hoping to become America’s first black president.
Davit Zakaryan, 24, was questioned and searched after Mr Obama’s Secret Service guards saw him allegedly loitering outside the Fairfield Inn in Ottumwa, Iowa, just before the Democratic candidate was about to start a day’s campaigning.
And just who is our crusader for “white power?”
But wait, there’s more!
There have been some threats to Mr Obama posted on the internet and incendiary comments about his middle name, Hussein, and his father’s religion.
So, Ann, care to explain yourself? ‘Cause what you said sure didn’t sound like jokes to these Emmy award-winners.
