The tide has turned
It seems like only yesterday that liberals were frustrated with their choice of candidates following the “librul media”-induced implosion of Howard Dean’s 2004 presidential candidacy, while conservatives were just pleased as punch with The Most Holy George W. Christ.
Now, the tables have turned. The labor unions, a key voting bloc, are now so pleased with the entire Democratic field that they may forego a primary endorsement. The Rethugs’ candidate of choice? “None of the above.”
Even sweeter is the fact that Fred Thompson, long considered to be conservatives “Great White Hope™,” fell well short of the expected $5 million that he’d boasted he’d be able to bring in. If we can replicate our success in the ‘06 midterms, then no matter who the Democratic nominee is, he/she will wipe the floor with the Rethuglican candidate.
