And You Are Lynching Negroes.*

So Justice Clarence Thomas has a new book out. In it, he whines that he was politically lynched by “racist” white Northern “libruls.” Never mind that, in the end, he was confirmed to replace Thurgood Marshall by the “librul” Senate at the time.

And so, in “honor” of the occasion, I present the Top Ten Rejected Titles for Justice Thomas’ Memoir:

  1. If I Committed Sexual Harassment

  2. My High-Tech Lynching

  3. Those Who Race-Bait

  4. Some Are More Equal Than Others: A Look Back At Bush v. Gore

  5. In Defense of Slavery (Though I understand that Michael Medved is interested in that one…)

  6. Uncle Clarence’s Cabin

  7. Nativist Son

  8. Slandering My Critics

  9. Brave Old World

  10. Clarence Thomas Versus The U. S. Constitution

* A reference to a common counter-accusation the Soviets would level at Americans whenever the United States accused the Soviet Union of human rights violations.
