I’m campaigning to make the list for 2008…
Amanda directs us to a list over at WingNutDaily of the “Top Seven Acts of Christian-bashing in 2007.” The list is apparently compiled by something called the “Christian Anti-Defamation Commission” as part of their annual persecution complex circle-jerk. In other words, the Razzies for those who think that the fact that the United States of America is not a theocracy means that Christians are being fed to the lions.
You know. Wankstock™®©.
There is, however, one segment of the piece that worries me to no end:
The CADC will work aggressively “to stop this dangerous and irresponsible Christian bashing in 2008,” he said.
Yeah. I think we know exactly what form their “aggressive work” will take:

He [Gary L. Cass, head of this pro-theocracy cabal] said his organization is calling on “anti-Christian politicians, Hollywood and New York media elites to stop the Christian bashing and take responsibility for the culture of hate towards Christians they have helped to create.”
Umm, Mr. Cass? Maybe you and your ilk ought to “stop the non-Christian bashing and take responsibility for the culture of hate towards non-Christians you’ve helped create.” It’ll be a lot easier to remove the mote from your neighbor’s eye after you’ve expelled the 2x4 from your eye.
