Have you ever heard of a thing called “fluoridation?” Fluoridation of water?*

Admiral William Fallon, apparently long opposed to the idea of glassing Iran, has resigned. As Digby notes, this couldn’t have possibly been anything other than a Saturday Night Massacre. As it stands right now, there is no one within the military command structure with the cojones to oppose Bush’s efforts to pull a Slim Pickens on Iran. I wouldn’t be surprised to find that the person who will replace Fallon will have been carefully selected so as to be as deeply delusional as The Most Holy George W. Christ is about Iran’s alleged interest in fluoridating our water supply wiping Israel off the map. Then again, that’s what we were expecting when Bush tapped Fallon to lead CENTCOM in the first place, so we’ll see.

The avalanche has already started. It is too late for the pebbles to vote.

*SIGH*

I hope you’re wrong, Kosh. I hope you’re wrong.
