Republican Felon #1 is Mark Jacoby, owner of a California voter registration firm. Jacoby was recently arrested because his firm was caught duping Democratic voters into changing their registrations to Republican by falsely presenting the registration change as a petition for tougher laws against child molesters. People like Mark Foley. Whoops.

Republican Felon(s) #2 — the Young Republicans of Greene County, Ohio. These Emmy award-winners decided that if ACORN could get away with the crime of legally registering poor and minority voters, they ought to be able to get away with illegally getting their buddies in other states to register and apply for absentee ballots. Not only is this patently illegal (whereas what ACORN does is not), but there is a racial overtone to the GCYRs actions, as Greene County is home to two major historically black colleges — Central State University and Wilberforce University and Seminary. Nice. Way to stay KKKlassy, GCYRs!

Oh great. Just what I need to hear as I am about to go exercise my civic duty:

WINFIELD, W.Va. — Three Putnam County voters say electronic voting machines changed their votes from Democrats to Republicans when they cast early ballots last week.

This is the second West Virginia county where voters have reported this problem. Last week, three voters in Jackson County told The Charleston Gazette their electronic vote for “Barack Obama” kept flipping to “John McCain”.

Yep. The answer to early voting has apparently been found — EARLY CHEATING! *sigh*

And how have the local Rethugs responded to claims of malware disguised as voting machines? Blaming the victim, natch:

In both counties, Republicans are responsible for overseeing elections. Both county clerks said the problem is isolated.

They also blamed voters for not being more careful.

“People make mistakes more than machines,” said Jackson County Clerk Jeff Waybright.

What a crock of shit! Have these idiots even seen the long list of problems with electronic voting machines? Hell, just eSlate, the system we use around here, is chock full of its own problems.

Naturally, we won’t hear much more than a peep out of the “librul” media about this. To them, we’re the tinfoil-hatters — the real problem is ACORN’s Grand Conspiracy to Fluoridate the Water Supply Steal the Election With Votes From Illegal Immigrants™, doncha’ know?
