Although she was the only actor to play in every one of the Star Trek incarnations (including the upcoming J. J. Abrams film), for me the highlight of her career was when she played Lady Morella in the third-season episode “Point of No Return” on Babylon 5 (seen above). Hollywood (and America) has lost a legend today.

Aw, that’s too bad. She was married to Gene Rodenberry, wasn’t she? I remember when he died, it was big news.

Yes, she was married to Mr. Roddenberry. In fact, as I recall, she gained the rights to all of Roddenberry’s unfinished works when he died, which is how we got “Earth: Final Conflict” and “Andromeda” inflicted on us.
