I can’t seem to recall a time when the Village Idiots Wise Men’s Club required a Republican to have a Sister Souljah moment. It seems to be reserved for centrists who are supposed to avail themselves of the opportunity to move central-er by which the Villagers mean “to the right”.
David Ignatius apparently picked it up from Richard Cohen like so much swine flu.
