  3. Mistakes can happen, but me thinks we have a pattern emerging.

    I mean, they’re not even trying to hide the gross partisanship. Yet their ratings are up, up, up. People don’t like having to think; they like being told what to think.

  4. I have to wonder just what percentage of that audience increase (if it’s real and not just another case of lying with statistics) is people who weren’t watching FNC because they were TOO Fair and Balanced™, if you know what I mean.

  5. I think you may be right; Fox doubled down on partisan and found a whole other world of really conservative viewers. I think the main thing is that many of these people feel their country is slipping away from them, what with us electing a black president and all. It’s sort of ironic that this is coinciding with the rise of Shepard Smith as a decent pundit.
