Make Time for Kitteh!

My brother’s cat, Miss Kitty, sitting pretty in her tower:

Believe it or not, just a couple of minutes before that picture was taken, she was laying down in the tower and whipping herself with her tail. I think it’s a game she plays to keep herself entertained. Anyway, she must have heard the camera turning on, because in the time it took me to aim the lens her way, she was already as she appears in the pic.

And here she is hogging the chair in the computer room:

My brother recently compared her to the stereotypical girl in high school who’s pretty and knows it. Does it show?

  1. She’s gorrrrrrrgeous, JAB! Tabbies are the prettiest of all cats, IMO.

Like her cool cat tower. Ha! Looks like she enjoys it.

  2. Hey, JAB! My first cat was a medium-long haired brown tabby. He was a he, and wasn’t like the stereotypical high school girl who knows she’s pretty. My cat-loving friends described him as debonaire. He was gorgeous and one of my dearest friends and I miss him still.

He used to snooze on the desk in the sunroom beside my Mac Plus, back in the mid-80s.

  3. JJ - Just don’t try to pet her when she’s in the tower if you want to keep your hand. :D

  4. mouthy - Did I ever tell you about the cats I had growing up? One was a tabby-Siamese mix that we called Smokey. He had Siamese facial features and a Siamese meow. I’m also pretty sure that his fur was unusually smooth for a pure tabby.

The other cat was a pure tabby we called Tiger. She claimed me as her boy, and would always come with Mom to wake me up when I was in high school.

We had to have Smokey put down about a month before 9/11 (renal failure), and we had to have Tiger put down in mid-March of 2004 (thyroid problem what wasn’t responsive to treatment).
