Question for wingnuts RE: health care
Has ANY country with a “socialized” health care system gone back to the not-so-tender mercies of the private sector?
A random schmuck mouthing off about the state of the world.

NO!!!
There’s a good reason why not only the insurance companies but the entire right-wing are so frantic to get this thing killed — because after people get used to it and see how well it works, they will love it and love Obama.
Look at Tommy Douglas — 63 years after he introduced universal healthcare to Canada, we are still voting him “Greatest Canadian” in all those media contests. There’s a reason for that!

Good Morrow, JJ!
That is precisely my point about the whole health care debate. What is so evil about “socialized” medicine in the eyes of conservatives is the fact that it works so well. It is a perfectly clear refutation of the notion that every single thing government does is 1,000,000,000,000,000,000% wrong and every single thing private enterprise does is 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000% right that conservatives are so married to.
No wonder they’re so afraid.
