Actually, John Edwards was from North Carolina. Not that there’s much difference between the two, politically. I (or rather, my parents) lived in Chapel Hill, NC for much of my college years. There’s a suburb of Raleigh called Cary that the locals jokingly referred to as “Containment Area for the Relocation of Yankees.”
So, yeah.
