The angry, angry Left
Yes, Tom Blumer, let’s talk about civility:
There is a remote, although gaining, possibility America’s military will intervene as a last resort to resolve the “Obama problem.” Don’t dismiss it as unrealistic.
America isn’t the Third World. If a military coup does occur here it will be civilized. That it has never happened doesn’t mean it wont. Describing what may be afoot is not to advocate it. So, view the following through military eyes:
[…]
Will the day come when patriotic general and flag officers sit down with the president, or with those who control him, and work out the national equivalent of a “family intervention,” with some form of limited, shared responsibility?
Imagine a bloodless coup to restore and defend the Constitution through an interim administration that would do the serious business of governing and defending the nation. Skilled, military-trained, nation-builders would replace accountability-challenged, radical-left commissars. Having bonded with his twin teleprompters, the president would be detailed for ceremonial speech-making.
Military intervention is what Obama’s exponentially accelerating agenda for “fundamental change” toward a Marxist state is inviting upon America. A coup is not an ideal option, but Obama’s radical ideal is not acceptable or reversible.
Shorter John L. Perry:
-
Look, I’m not advocating a new White House Putsch, even if thinking about it does give me a stiffy. I’m just saying that a Final Solution to the Obama Problem may be necessary.
And in other news, T3h Left is a bajillion times more prone to violence than wingnuts because Mike Malloy had the temerity to call out the Reich-wingers on their hardon for Race War v. 12.5 Civil War v. 2.0. Tim Graham said so.
“Shorter” concept created by Daniel Davies, perfected by Elton Beard and given a beneficial mutation by the fine folks at Sadly, No!
I am aware of all Internet tradtions.™

Ha! Well done.
I love this guy Grayson… the entire Democratic Party needs to start doing exactly what he did, which is to take the GOP’s paranoid hyperbole and throw it right back in their faces. Hard to squeal about “civility” when you’ve got wingnut writers agitating for a military coup (which, if not outright treason, is pretty damn close).
I loved his apology, too — to all the dead! This guy’s got JAM.

Indeed, JJ. My only quibble is with his use of the word “Holocaust.” The fetus fetishists and teabaggers have watered down the Nazis’ crimes enough. No need to dilute it any further from our end.
